Formichetti debuts see now buy now line for Amazon Fashion at LFW

Nicola Formichetti presented his first Nicopanda see now, buy now line for Amazon Fashion during London Fashion Week last night and the collection was available to buy online immediately as the show ended.

The collection, which was first announced at the end of July, was a Millennial friendly array of brightly coloured oversized hoodies, sweats, t-shirts, jersey dresses and leggings in polka dots, stripes and varsity styles, with accessories including clutches, scarves and berets.

As if to reinforce the immediate availability point some models were sent down the runway at the end of the show carrying delivery boxes, which had also provided the backdrop for the event staged at Amazon Fashion’s hip photography studio in Hoxton.

With prices for a unisex oversize sweat at £120, leggings at £50 and a ruffle edged polka dot clutch at £80, the collection offers an accessible price point for fans of the Italian/Japanese creative maestro as well as instant gratification (technically, if you are an Amazon Prime member within “select London postcodes”, you could have been walking round the streets of the capital in the outfits just one hour after they were seen walking down the catwalk).
