ARKET launches online and opens doors on Regent Street

ARKET, the latest brand from the H&M Group, launched online in 18 markets today and opened the doors of its first global store on London’s Regent Street.

Taking its name from the Swedish word for “sheet of paper” the new offering takes the form of “a modern- day market offering essential products for men, women, children and the home”. The collections include ARKET’s own products as well as a selection of third-party brands.

The two-storey Regent Street store at number 224 occupies the former Banana Republic unit and is the second H&M group fascia to open on the street in the past week. (Its denim-anchored line, Weekday, was opened on 18 August.) A second London store will open on Covent Garden’s Long Acre, along with stores in Copenhagen, Brussels and Munich, in the coming weeks and months.

“We are incredibly happy to introduce ARKET and its collections, and welcome our first customers into our stores on Regent Street and online at arket.com. Our team has been working towards this day for over two years, and we are excited to finally share the results,” said managing director Lars Axelsson.
