Joules, Timberland and Seasalt are among the latest eight brands to confirm they have taken stores at The Lexicon Bracknell, which is due to open in six weeks’ time.

Others to have confirmed their presence at the £240m development are Paperchase, The Body Shop, Beauty Base, Costa Coffee and Prezzo, meaning the scheme is now 92% pre-let or agreed.

Premium fashion and lifestyle brand Joules leads the latest string of lettings with a 2,280 sq ft store while Timberland is taking a 2,300 sq ft unit and Cornish fashion and lifestyle brand Seasalt is taking a 1,670 sq ft unit. All will be located on The Avenue, which is set to be the development’s premium street.

“These eight new signings herald the high level of interest and momentum that The Lexicon continues to experience from leading retailers and food & beverage operators. We’re less than six weeks from the grand opening and we continue to secure an exciting mix of names for Bracknell,” said Legal & General retail leasing manager Richard Poyser.

The Lexicon Bracknell is being developed by The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, a 50:50 joint venture between Legal & General Capital and Schroder UK Real Estate Fund, working in partnership with Bracknell Forest Council.

It is one of the largest urban regeneration schemes currently being built in the UK and is set to open on 7 September 2017. The town centre transformation will bring the total space to 1m sq ft of retail, restaurants and leisure, including the existing, adjacent Princess Square shopping centre.

Marks & Spencer and upscale department store Fenwick will anchor the scheme whose fashion retail line-up already includes Superdry, Next, H&M, River Island, Fat Face, Topshop, Pandora and Primark.
