YNAP’s Online Flagship Stores division unveils Isabel Marant e-store

Yoox Net-A-Porter’s Online Flagship Stores arm has today unveiled the first e-commerce site for French designer Isabel Marant.

The e-store is powered by YNAP’s technology and logistics and is available in six languages (English, French, Italian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese), with nine currencies and distribution to 101 countries.

It has been designed to offer consumer the widest selection of Isabel Marant’s collections online including her mainline and Etoile diffusion lines, along with accessories and bags, beginning with the AW17 season.

In addition, a special section called “la valise d’Isabel” (Isabel’s suitcase) will present the Parisian designer’s point of view on the current collection on a biweekly basis.

To mark the launch Marant has teamed up with German painter Katrin Bremermann to create new “artsy” packaging and the first 500 customers on the site will receive a special gift. Paris agency June 21st designed the site.

The Isabel Marant brand was founded in 1994 and has gone on to gain worldwide recognition and be stocked in some of the world’s most prestigious multibrand boutiques, as well as own brand stores. Last year the brand sold a 51% stake in the business to investment fund Montefiore Investment to support its expansion ambitions, while Marant and original partners Nathalie Chemouny and Sophie Duruflé retained a 49% stake.

YNAP’s technology powers the e-commerce businesses of some of the world’s most prestigious luxury and premium fashion brands including Armani, Valentino, Alexander Wang, Pucci, Lanvin and Missoni.

1 week ago by indlondon London’s Oxford Street could be pedestrianised by the end of next year and here’s what it might look like. Under bold new plans unveiled by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and Westminster Council this morning, buses, taxis and other forms of transport would be banished from this iconic street from Oxford Circus to Orchard Street (which runs parallel to Selfridges). The plans are subject to a public consultation until 17 December and, if approved, could be implemented by December 2018.
