Rockins has launched a pop-up at Selfridges as part of the department store’s summer Music Matters initiative.

The brand was founded by artist and musician Tim Rockins and marketing director Jess Morris in 2014 and initially specialised in skinny, rock-inspired scarves. It moved into denim and ready to wear last autumn, which is being showcased at the pop-up, along with the scarves.

Morris said the brand was “proud” to be part of the Music Matters concept: “Music really does matter - now more than ever. It brings people together and reminds us of the beauty in humanity”.

A number of figures from the music and fashion industries attended a party at Mayfair’s Park Chinois last night to mark the launch of the pop-up (described as riot of rock ‘n’ roll posters and original music packaging), including Jamie Hince (an early ambassador of the brand), Sienna Miller, Mary Charteris, Serena Rees, Karen Elson and Jasmine Guinness.

Music Matters will run in-store and online at Selfridges until 18 October.
