The Industry has unveiled the speaker line-up, which includes experts from the fields of law, accountancy, corporate finance, crowdfunding and entrepreneurship, for its Masterclass on Raising Finance for Starting Out and Accelerating Growth. The event takes place at 2.15pm on 8 November at Andaz London Liverpool Street.
This industry-leading line-up will take delegates through the many and varied finance options available and the legal dos and don’ts of taking an investor on board, as well as offering insights on financing their own start-up.

The speakers are:
Tahir Basheer, partner at leading London law practice Sheridans. Tahir is partner in the Digital Media, Music, Fashion and Brands Groups at Sheridans and has a particular focus on the convergence of creative content and technology. He is listed in The Legal 500 for his expertise on digital and convergence matters and also for his work with interactive entertainment companies.
Rebekah Hall, founder, Botanic Lab – Rebekah followed her studies in economics with a successful 10-year career as a city corporate financier, before moving to the other side of the fence and setting up her own business in the health drinks sector. Rebekah will offer a unique perspective on financing other people’s businesses as well as seeking finance for her own.
Kate Levy, head of creative businesses, Wilson Wright – Kate was appointed as head of creative businesses at leading London accountancy practice Wilson Wright this year and looks after big-name clients in the media, entertainment, fashion and beauty space. She will use her considerable expertise to present on the different sources of funding available to start-ups and growing companies in the fashion industry.
