The Industry will be staging an in conversation event with model and presenter Jade Parfitt during London Fashion Week at Grooming Room, Century Club, Soho on 20 February at 4.30pm.

Parfitt, who made her breakthrough as a model at the age of 15, will be talking to fellow fashion broadcaster and adviser to The Industry Scott Wimsett. The pair will discuss Parfitt’s long career, her plans for the future and her views on Fashion Week and the industry in general.

Scott Wimsett: hosting the interview

Parfitt’s career has seen her work with some of fashion’s most famous photographers and designers including Craig McDean, David Sims and Steven Meisel. She has graced catwalks around the world and has appeared as the bride three times in Jean Paul Gaultier‘s shows and has fronted campaigns for Versace, Givenchy and Clinique.

Latterly Parfitt has also established a career as a knowledgeable and respected fashion presenter while continuing to model. The mother of two lives in London.

Wimsett is a well-known figure among members of The Industry and the wider fashion sector. His career as a presenter dates back 20 years following his early exposure on MTV. The event begins at 4.30pm with networking and drinks, followed by an interview and audience Q&A from 5pm. Close is at 7pm.
