Lingerie retailer Bravissimo has opened a new regional flagship store in the St David’s shopping destination in Cardiff.

Set over two storeys and covering 3,978 sq ft, the new store was designed in partnership with Four by Two and is located on the upper level of the Grand Arcade, near John Lewis. It stocks the brand’s full range of lingerie, swimwear and clothing alongside an assortment of lingerie and swimwear from other leading brands.

Bravissimo CEO Sarah Tremellen said the brand had built up a loyal following in the area over the past 10 years through its Queens Arcade store. “[…] St David’s is the perfect place to open our new store. We aim to provide a really welcoming space for our customers to come and feel uplifted and good about themselves. We can’t wait to welcome them to our new shop in such a fantastic location,” she said.

The St David’s centre is run by the St David’s Partnership, a joint venture between Land Securities and intu. Colin Flinn, regional director at intu, said: “Bravissimo is a fantastic addition to the strong and diverse retail line-up at St David’s. This new opening firmly cements the centre’s position as one of the leading regional retail and leisure destinations in the UK.”

Other fashion brands at the centre range from leading high street names such as River Island, Primark, H&M and New Look along with premium brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Hugo Boss and Radley.

4 days ago by indlondon London’s Oxford Street could be pedestrianised by the end of next year and here’s what it might look like. Under bold new plans unveiled by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and Westminster Council this morning, buses, taxis and other forms of transport would be banished from this iconic street from Oxford Circus to Orchard Street (which runs parallel to Selfridges). The plans are subject to a public consultation until 17 December and, if approved, could be implemented by December 2018.
