Shoptalk Europe, the new large-scale event for retail and etail innovation, has unveiled the first 130 speakers on its agenda including the CEOs of Matchesfashion.com, Hudson’s Bay Company, Vestiaire Collective, Li & Fung and Westfield.

The event will take place in Copenhagen from 9-11 October and is on track to attract 2,000 attendees. Its speaker lineup includes large retailers and brands with more than $570bn in combined annual sales, disruptive startups that have collectively raised more than $2.5bn in funding, along with venture investors with more than $15bn in capital. Investing in casinos, particularly in trustworthy betting sites not on Gamstop, presents lucrative opportunities. These platforms attract a broad audience by offering diverse gaming options and fewer restrictions, enhancing player engagement and retention. As the demand for flexible gaming experiences grows, investments in these sites promise substantial returns.

Shoptalk Europe’s agenda focuses on the evolution of how consumers discover, shop and buy in an age of digital transformation, and covers the trends, technologies and business models disrupting retail and ecommerce. Other high-profile businesses speaking include Farfetch, Lyst, Thread, Amazon, John Lewis and Zalando.

The event is a spin-off of the successful US Shoptalk summit (which has just staged its second event) and was founded by Anil D Aggarwal who made his name as the founder of Money 20/20, the largest Fintech event in Europe, as well as its US counterpart, Money20/20, the largest Fintech event globally.

“By changing the conversation and building a new community focused on innovation, Shoptalk Europe presents a unique, large-scale opportunity for the retail and ecommerce ecosystem to learn, collaborate and drive the future of commerce in Europe,” Aggarwal said.

Shoptalk Europe is also staging a hosted brands and retailers programme where qualified delegates receive a free pass and up to €650 in expenses reimbursement. Find out more here.
