The Industry's Nik Thakkar builds on the KARLISMYUNKLE family.
Nik Thakkar has consolidated his creative energies into a single brand consultancy
When he's not blogging on KARLISMYUNKLE, Nik Thakkar has pinned his name onto some of the most talked about fashion and entertainment projects in media to date. Co-pioneering content creation for the industry's biggest names, previous brand collaborations include Diet Coke by Karl Lagerfeld, Diet Coke by John Paul Gautier and Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese.
Launched on Monday, Nephew London is the next descendant in Nik's award-winning dynasty. Marketed as a creative brand strategy and storytelling consultancy, Nephew London works to leverage brand credibility across a broad range of media platforms within fashion, entertainment and consumer lifestyle sectors. Through his various facets, Nik's success has always been underpinned by his ability to bring creativity and intelligence together, a strand that will follow through into his consultancy service: 'Nephew London demonstrates an unparalleled pairing between creative insight and brand intelligence, setting the consultancy apart from the crowd', explains The Industry member.
And if his wealth of experience doesn't speak for itself, then endorsement from Adri Murguia, director/producer at VICE NYC certainly does: 'Nik is one of the most creative minds I've met in the media world. A curator of trends and with a natural instinct for distinguishing talent […] Nik is ahead of the game and is unstoppable.'
Nephew London already has an impressive client list and is set for internal expansion this summer – for more information on both the consultancy and future recruitment opportunities click here.
